All Elate Carbon 3-way systems receive the all new MM3 3.5″ cone midrange. This small midrange uses the best of Morel’s technology, including EVC motor, high power 2.1” diameter voice coil, and highly damped carbon- fiber/Rohacell cone, allowing it to play lower in frequency and with greater control than most 4.5” speakers. It also handles some serious power. These attributes drastically improve system performance while enabling them to fit in most factory midrange locations.
The compact design of the MT450 tweeter allows users the option to place the speaker in most factory locations, or into space-limited areas using the supplied mounts. It may be small in size, but the MT450’s Acuflex coated silk dome, open cavity design and dual neodymium magnet motor give it amazing detail and a silky-smooth, flat frequency response.
